1 in 6 Americans are food insecure. In the land of abundance there’s food everywhere but, for some, not a drop to eat. The problem is not simple. It’s systematic and complex. Our collective creativity is chomping at the bit to address issues like these from new angles. One day, an entrepreneur named Steve asked, “What can a sandwich shop do?” We opened the first Even Stevens on June 24th, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. After donation over 30,000 sandiwches to surrounding non-profits in our first 6 months we knew we were on to something.
