What Guests Are Saying
This past Saturday, I visited this cafe for the first time and spent a couple of hours working there. The atmosphere was beautiful, and there was plenty of room to work either alone or as a group. I tried their cappuccino and cheddar scone. The coffee was very well-made, and the scone was fresh. The staff were friendly and patient with my questions and recommendations. What stood out to me, though, was the hospitality of the manager. They had a proactive approach to customer service and were very attentive to my needs. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to the food I had because I had forgotten to ask the ingredients in more detail. To no fault of the staff, this happened. However, one of the staff immediately helped me with a ginger shot, which was exactly what I needed. Shortly after, the manager also kindly checked up on me to make sure I was okay. I had my medication on me, so all was good, but their kindness stayed in my mind and made this an exceptionally positive experience, regardless of what happened. I highly recommend this cafe and kudos to the management and her wonderful staff. I definitely plan to be back!
This was such a lovely spot! The staff were so nice and seemed to all be enjoying working there which adds to nicely to the atmosphere! I had a lemonade and a sandwich with a side salad and was pleasantly surprised with the quality! The drinks was a little overpriced, but the sandwich meal was only $15! Not bad at all for downtown lunch! The place was spotless and a perfect spot to go with a book or get some work done in the day, definitely recommend!
it’s a great chain! the drinks are good- well-made coffees, iced chai, hot matcha, 🌟iced honey oat latte are amazing! they also serve cocktails I like the service and number system! comfy loungy seating cons- pastries are the same as everywhere, the few food options have declined overtime & not standardized - attached pics of the different versions of the granola yogurt bowl I got. I also miss when they served lattes in wine glasses also, the coffee shop is in the lobby of a condo building and near UofT campus so it gets packed with students working and holding tables
