His name was James, and he was our server. I am a very simple person and great customer service will ruin an experience. I was traveling and I was introduced to this establishment. I mentioned our server first, because that was the experience. The establishment lighting was great for dining, and I noticed a more lit area for the bar. The ambiance was great. A cursory review of the menu and I can tell you, there are some selections, but again, this is not about the great food that I ordered. James introduced himself and his voice would have you ordering everything. I ordered dessert. I don’t normally order dessert. I remember a time when the most of the staff knew the menu like a parent knows their child’s birthday. For me, it is the simple things, this man knew his craft, which means he took pride in his work, nothing else is more admirable. Luckily, I took pictures, my words could never truly give the experience its due credit. Credit is due to our server. I do not remember what the ice cream tasted like, and I believe it was bread pudding, the steak was cooked perfectly. The one thing I wanted to ensure was that if you go to this establishment, ask for James, he’ll take care of you, and your experience will be better for it.
Food was mid, service was TERRIBLE. Don’t waste your time or money here. We went for lunch when it was extremely slow and all of the front of house staff was just standing behind the host counter scrolling on their phones. Couldn’t be bothered to fill up water or check in on us when we were seemingly the only table in the whole place. I can understand slow service when it’s busy, but cmon we can clearly see you standing 20 feet away lounging around…
Good Lil steakhouse spot in the Cut..Food is good and well portioned...Shout out to "Holden" and The Manager "Erica" for great service and Introduction to their establishment
