First time visiting this place and it warrants another trip. We ate outside on the patio and had a pleasant time. I ordered the Hail Caesar salad with shrimp and Grouper Fingers and my wife ordered Fish and Chips. The Grouper Fingers with the accompanying remoulade was a big hit and the Caesar salad was chopped and dressed nicely but could have used a lot less croutons and a bit more seasoning on the shrimp. The fish was good and the fries were even better. Not a bad first impression and worth a follow-up trip to decide if they’re worthy of adding to our rotation list.

The food is usually good, as is the service. However the Monday Night "Singo" is absolutely horrific. It was obnoxiously loud, and when we politely asked the server if they could adjust the volume down a bit, the response was "I can try". She clearly had heard that request many times before. She eventually came back around our table about 10 minutes later, and we asked if they had told her no (because the volume certainly had not been adjusted) and she said "oh I forgot." She then went to the couple running the Singo and made our request, only to return to our table and tell us that they said no. She then said "They do their own thing." Then she let us know that Barleycorns has no control over them, or the volume. Another server came by and reiterated what our server had told us. We had to yell just for the servers to hear our order, as well as yell across our 36 inch table just to hear one another. I can only assume they have the Singo setup in there to draw in a crowd on an otherwise slow Monday night, or perhaps just for entertainment purposes, but it definitely did not work as there were only 8 tables occupied while we were there, and everyone at my table found it to be very loud and obnoxious; anything but entertaining. We won't come back on a Monday night; quite likely not at all, if Barleycorns actually has no control over the entertainment they bring in to ruin customer's meals. It certainly ruined ours.
Barleycorns, you lost some long time customers.

Recently visited with a group of 8 for my mother's birthday. We were sat immediately inside without a wait. Rose was our server. She was friendly, handled our larger group well, and kept our drinks filled. My low rating has no reflection on her service. Five stars for her! Our issue was with the food. Two stars vs. one because the queso dip was delicious. My mother ordered her burger medium rare. It was beyond well done, burned, and then some. As were the sweet potato fries that came with it. The manager came out and replaced her burger, as well as took it off of the bill for the error. The replacement burger came, as requested, in a to go box for her to take home. She got it out the next day to eat, only to find it was just as burnt as the original one. My husband and son got the Wildcat chicken sandwich. Both came without any blue cheese dressing that comes on it. Thankfully, my mother had ordered extra that they were able to use. My brother and I both ordered the ham and cheese sliders. Mine were fine, but my brother's buns were both burnt and had to be remade. I'm not sure if the cook was new, overwhelmed, just didn't care, or was having an off night, but it was enough for us to know we will not be back.
Also, it is worth mentioning, in case you haven't been there for a while, like us... they no longer have Reubens.
