About Casa Bonita

Casa Bonita Coffee & Bakery was the first cafe to introduce mochi donuts to Ottawa. Tucked into Fisher Heights Plaza on Baseline Road, the gorgeous space blends Asian and Western cafe traditions with a focus on freshly made mochi donuts, croffles, and specialty coffees.

One of if not my absolute favourite cafes in Ottawa! The interior space is super clean and modern. A perfect space for studying. The food and drink here is also delicious. My favourite item so far has been the Black Forest cake. Their banh mi is also super tasty. The staff is kind especially this one worker. He always seems to go above and beyond and has amazing recommendations.

We found this spot by luck, heading home. Decided to stop because we thought that the name was so funny: it’s two portuguese words that literally means Beautiful House. And it is! The cakes are delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts amazing: the tiramisu is wonderful! I tried the cinnamon latte wich i adore. And decoration is beautiful. That wall of roses is a wonderful idea.

One of the cutest coffee I’ve been! The owner is so sweet and kind. The café has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere with cute décor, making it a great place to relax, study, or catch up with friends. The drinks are creative and delicious. I tried the Matcha Ube and it was so good. The Tiramisu was delicious. The coffee menu has unique options that you don’t often see elsewhere. I will 100% come back!
