Crab Corner
About Crab Corner
Crab Corner Maryland Seafood House is considered one of the best seafood restaurants in Las Vegas. It's owned and operated by the Smolen brothers, who are originally from the great state of Maryland. Upon coming to Las Vegas in 2006, they immediately noticed the lack of East Coast flavor for all of the transplanted residents. In 2010, the original Crab Corner restaurant on Eastern Avenue opened it's doors the public and was an instant hit.
Our extensive menu offers such items as live lobster, soft-shell crabs, steamed mussels and clams, peel 'n eat shrimp and much more. Come try it & be transported to the Chesapeake Bay! We'll spread the paper on the table and hand you the crab mallet & knife while you dine in true Maryland crab feast style.

After traveling for the past 3 weeks in Mexico and not finding fresh oysters, told Hubs to drive to take me to Crab Corner. Arrived and recognized Michelle and she greeted us. Order half of raw and half of baked. Always comes out fresh and made to order. At 2pm starts their happy hour in which hubs ordered an IPA. We love the bacon wrapped shrimp in which you can never go wrong. Going up on hush puppies, I cannot resist ordering them. This time Michelle had help with the lovely Janelle helping her. Both go above and beyond. This is truly one of favorite spots in Vegas. With the triple digits happening, hubs and I were craving some fresh oysters. Turn to the net and they pointed us to this place. They have a daily special that cannot be beat. When we arrived we saw about 7 tables and a couple waiting to be seated. Michelle greeted us briefly and let us know there would be a small wait till we were seated. She motioned the couple who were waiting to follow her to a table. I decided to take advantage of the ladies room as you know nature calls. As I was making my way. I couldn't help but observe Michelle making a cocktail that a table ordered. Michelle is the Jill of all trades, not only is she answering phones, greeting customers as hostess, waitress, mixologist and busser. She always checked up on us and truly is an asset to this place. Food came and oysters are fresh and good, the grilled ones were tasty as well. Highly recommend and you won't be disappointed
Was not a fan overall. I have been to quite a few of these types of establishments. The shrimp ceviche was "overcooked" as in the shrimp were tough. None of the steamers came with more than just corn. The crab cakes and calamari were good. Mozzarella sticks were barely warm and the gumbo was embarrassing. (We sent it back) Their cajun sauce tasted weird, but couldn't put my finger on the overwhelming seasoning. I will not be back. I ordered off of their annual restaurant week menu as well as other items. The lobster roll was decent. My mai tai was trash. I didn't necessarily expect a top shelf masterpiece, but I definitely am not in college where that drink quality would suffice.
Authentic Maryland blue crabs in Vegas — finally! The jumbo lump blue crab cakes were the real deal: zero filler, perfectly seasoned with Old Bay, just like back East. Whole blue crabs were fresh and flavorful. What really stood out was the family vibe. The staff treats you like one of their own — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely proud of what they serve. You can tell this place is run by people who care. If you're craving genuine Maryland seafood in Vegas, skip the Strip and come here. Worth every mile of the drive. Must try: Blue crabs and the crab cake platter
