As an event planner, I was intrigued when my friend and client suggested the Mars Bar for her party. After hosting our event there, I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The party was a huge success, thanks to the fabulous venue and its exceptional staff. During walk-throughs, I had the pleasure of spending several hours soaking in the wonderful atmosphere and enjoying their high-quality, organic, fresh food. It's a fantastic local spot with versatile spaces — I can't praise it enough. The creative and warm manager was incredibly helpful with every detail, and the bar staff excelled at crafting specialty drinks and accommodating all our guests. The venue definitely has SF character! Everyone complimented the excellent service. Party planners—be sure to add this place to your list and invite your friends to enjoy a delicious cocktail on the heated back patio.

This place knows how to make a burger! Everything from the kitchen is good. Nothing special just good food! Kayla is a legit bartender and hella fun! Depending on the day and time it can be empty or full! Which also makes it perfect for any situation!

We've been twice. The first time was bad. The second time was worse. First visit: Food was painfully mid. Ordered a "strawberry lemonade" and got mostly tap water with maybe a few drops of store-bought lemon juice at most, plus grenadine. No strawberry. Not even close. Second visit: Walked in to dirty tables. Bartender/server took forever to acknowledge us, and when he finally did, he was bland and boring zero personality, zero effort. We ordered tater tots ($13) and nachos ($17). Tater tots tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Nachos were hard, cheese already solidified. Then we ordered two Mars burgers $17 each. Want bacon? That's an extra $4 for one and a half strips. Avocado? Another $4 for a quarter of one. So $25 per burger. I specifically said no mayo on mine. Appetizers came out late. Then, about 10 minutes later, the burgers came. Before they arrived, I overheard the cook say something to the server, and the server replied: "Oh. No, I'm sure they'll just take it." Then he brought the burgers out. Mine still had mayo. Onions weren't grilled like the menu read. My son ordered Sprite. It tasted like tap water. The server touched the straws with his bare hands on the tips. I never once saw him wash his hands. Two visits. Two disasters. Never going back.
