Came here for my stepbrothers birthday and the restaurant experience was OK overall. The noise level in the restaurant is quite loud and you have to yell to get heard unless they are right beside you. The seating for large groups of people are not very great. It is a sort of picnic table bench with no back support, it got quite uncomfortable after a while. Since we were a group of 11, the service was also pretty slow. There were other large groups being accommodated for so we understood the wait but it was definitely excessive. Other than these faults that made my rate lower, the food was actually so delicious! The drinks were also great. I didn’t try any of the beer (their specialty) but others at our table said that it was pretty great! I had the Malibu sangria and it was sooo delicious! Finished it very quickly. After 9 they had $4 shots and I took advantage of that!! Me and my boyfriend ordered the mushroom forager pizza and the fish tacos to share and it was amazing :) the salsa was quite spicy so beware of that when ordering the tacos. Otherwise we were soooo happy with the food and finished it all. Perfect amount to share.
Note: also beware when ordering appetizers. They are very small portions. Very delicious though!

Came here for a birthday party. I ordered a water to start and it was pretty clear and quenching. I also got a Pepsi and it had really good sweetness and carbonation. I love a restaurant that serves Pepsi products! Me and my girlfriend both ordered a main and shared them. I ordered the Mushroom Forager pizza and my girlfriend got the Fish Tacos. The pizza was honestly really good. The dough was pretty tasty with good chew and perfect cook. The mushroom and truffle paired really well together and the arugula was delicious. The fish tacos were great! They had really good flavour, crunch, and the fish was flaky and delicious. I really enjoyed these! We got fries on the side and they were seasoned well and the ketchup was good. We were a pretty large party and they were training new staff but service was honestly pretty slow. It took a while to get a refill and to order food. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and had good decor. I wasn’t a huge fan of the table setup though; it was one of those bench-type tables. The bathrooms were upstairs and they were pretty small too. It was Saturday night and they had a DJ from 9pm until close. It was pretty fun. It was a great night with good food!

After getting married in Florida, we wanted to celebrate with our family and friends back home in Edmonton, and MKT turned out to be the perfect place to do it.
Really appreciated how easy Matt and Amber made everything, especially since we weren't able to be in Edmonton leading up to the reception. Trying to plan an event from outside the country could have been stressful, but they kept us informed every step of the way, answered every question, and gave us complete confidence that everything would come together exactly as we had hoped.
When we finally walked into the reception, it was even better than we imagined. Everything looked fantastic, ran smoothly, and allowed us to simply enjoy the night with the people we love.
The servers and bartenders were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and really helped make the evening special. We heard so many compliments from our guests about how great the service and the food were.
A huge thank you to Matt, Amber, Darren, and the entire MKT team for making our Edmonton celebration so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
