I went to eat at this place I ordered a beef dip sandwich accompanied by regular fries, and the potatoes were really horrible, hard and dry, they looked like wooden sticks 🙁🙁🙁🙁 and the waitress was not an unpleasant person with us, she had no good disposition for that reason I did not complain to her for the bad accompaniment of my sandwich 🥪 I just left it there. The atmosphere of the place was good, they were playing bingo and there were plenty of people.

Went in for a World Cup game. The place was empty outside of maybe 10 regulars gathered around the bar.
We had the most rude server I’ve ever had before. My friend ordered a beer and was brought the wrong thing (Color and taste waaaay off). We mentioned it, not as a complaint but as a suggestion that maybe there was a mix up. The server, without checking, decided to deny there had been an error. No offer to check. No offer to discount or grab something else (it’s fine, he was going to finish it, but it wasn’t what he ordered). Just really cranky, rude and unprofessional.
We went since it was the literal closest pub to his house, but 2 blocks away there are dozens of better choices. We won’t be back no matter how charming Christmas lights in July are.
