10 out of 10!! We ate there for the first time today, and it was soooo delicious! My husband is from the south, and said he hasn't had BBQ like this since he moved to the Midwest! I'm a vegetarian, and the Jack Fruit sliders were absolutely incredible. I also thought I hated fried okra. Until today! Loved the vibe, and the staff was awesome!!
This place has the best bbq we have ever had. The ribs were absolutely to die for. Loved the burnt ends. We also had the jerk chicken which was great. And the Mac and cheese is top notch. The owner is so kind and personable as is all of the employees. Great atmosphere and cozy in the restaurant. Highly highly recommend.
Over all great black owned business! Good food! Good music! Friendly enough! I wish the service was more welcoming and attentive. Seems to be family owned and operated! The younger teen ladies working are tending to their phone and not listening when taking orders so after repeating yourself 3/4 times it put you in an irritating mood.

None. Your artist walks the whole room through the painting stroke by stroke over about two hours, and everyone leaves with a finished canvas. Most guests have never painted before.
There's free parking at or near Smokin BBQ.
Yes — the bar stays open while you paint. Food and drinks are ordered from and paid to the venue, and aren't part of your seat price.
Doors open 30 minutes before the painting starts. Come early, grab your seat and order a drink — the artist starts on time.
