The Tap Yard is a nice outdoor spot for a drink on the Milwaukee River. It sits in the corner of a parking lot, but they've done a little to make it feel pleasant, like adding AstroTurf and a few umbrellas. I might even give it five stars if it offered more shade—we arrived on a hot, sunny day to find that only about a dozen or so of the seats are in shade (and all of those were taken.)
Stopped in off of the riverwalk! The woman bartender was awesome, super friendly and gave us lots of recs. Drinks were good too, they have some fun games and a good vibe.
The only downside of this beer garden is that it is in a parking lot. Everything else is amazing! It's right on the river in downtown Milwaukee. Fairly priced craft beers on draft as well as other canned cocktails and seltzers. Local snacks for purchase, music, and yard games!

None. Your artist walks the whole room through the painting stroke by stroke over about two hours, and everyone leaves with a finished canvas. Most guests have never painted before.

Yes — the bar stays open while you paint. Food and drinks are ordered from and paid to the venue, and aren't part of your seat price.
