What Guests Are Saying
There were only 4 customers sitting in the bar , and one tale beside us . The table we sat down was dirty that’s the only complaint I have . Food was good . And okay price. Portion was big . We went there in the afternoon. It might be a good place for evening or night time the waitress said they have live music once a week.
This place has a lot of character, and I’ve had many good times here. But I cannot in good faith, give this place a good review. Honestly, it feels like a gamble as to whether you’ll get AMAZING food or something that tastes like it came out of the microwave. It fascinating, but I don’t know. They must legitimately have two cooks that work here. One that’s LOCKED IN and one that’s TERRIBLE. It’s really confusing. But yea, I guess if you like gambling on your expensive dinner, I wouldn’t recommend. Idk, maybe it’s a feature, cause when it’s good, it’s amazing.
Returned here after more than 15 years...and it looked exactly the same, no renos/updates and probably no cleaning either! Feels pretty classic Irish pub. Good selection on tap, and daily specials. The Cottage Pie was fantastic, but the disappointing Guinness Mac & Cheese was missing the crucial gooey cheesey sauce. Wonderful side salads with tasty dressing.
