Just ate here for the first time in 2 or 3 years. Menu is price fixed. Food was incredible. The food quality is so good that it's like your grandma opened an Italian Restaurant in Manhattan. I cannot believe the price to quality ratio here. I had the polenta and shrimp appetizer. It was different, but bursting with flavor. The veal parm was absolutely perfect. The tiramisu was good too. The Italian bread tastes like old school Italian bread from Brooklyn. The lightmy fried zucchini strings drizzled with balsamic dressing delicious. Mike was my was my waiter. He didn't make any mong faces or roll his eyes for me eating alone and drinking only water. I'll be back after this week with my wife, adult kids and parents. This place is great.
I almost don't want to write a review and keep this place a secret for just us. We decided to try a new place tonight. We were met with a very friendly staff. Had a table very fast as well. Our waiter/waiters were very prompt and super friendly. Plus there was a man who sang, at first I was like on no.. but no. He was good and we really enjoyed the music! We had some wine and then ordered. While we waited they brought out fried zucchini straws, bread and butter. My husband had the caprice, oso bucco with risotto and veggies, then a piece of Italian cheesecake, coffee and an amaretto. I had the baked clams, overstuffed lobster with lobster (of course) crab meat and shrimp in a lovely crean sauce, then the tiramisu, an espresso and a frangelico. From start to finish everything was suburb! So much food! We didn't know or realize it may have been a pre fixe menu. So when the bill came i was expecting it to be crazy high. It was not! We have found our new favorite place. So glad I didn't read the reviews first and was able to make our own decision.
A place with excellent service and delicious food. We come all the way from Montauk to eat at this restaurant. Highly recommended.
