During my events, I not only offer many tips and tricks for painting the chosen artwork, but I also encourage us to go rogue, get lost in the moment and share joy with our loved ones and our community. Bob Ross has definitely inspired my teaching style and you may recognize some quotes during my classes. I enjoy offering advice to those who want to create something unique and those who want to level up their techniques. I also just love to laugh, so humor and not taking myself too seriously are important parts of my classes too.

I began teaching Paint Nite events in 2016 as a PLU Art grad and have instructed hundreds of art classes since then. This experience helped me improve as a teacher and an artist. I am excited to be back and look forward to using art to connect once more with this awesome community. Outside of teaching art, I am a mom of 2 girls, and I substitute teach in schools. I love spending time with my family, playing games and being out in nature either rollerskating, kayaking or just breathing it in.

I use 12x16 canvases at my events to improve the overall experience. I also supply easels, brushes, paint, napkins and aprons to use while painting.
