Our new BEST BURGER EVER. Period.
We live in Modesto and were passing through Porterville on our way to our vacation home in Wofford Heights when we stopped at Smashway Burgers and now this place is officially part of the trip.
The burgers were absolutely incredible: hot, juicy, crispy around the edges, packed with flavor, and exactly what a smash burger is supposed to be. Easily one of those meals where you take the first bite and immediately, take pause, and look at each other like, Okay… this is STUPID GOOD!
The chef had such a wonderful personality, friendly, welcoming, funny, and genuinely seemed to care whether we were enjoying our food. That kind of hospitality makes a great meal even more memorable.
We also really appreciated that they offer a military discount. My husband is a Marine veteran, so that kind of acknowledgment means a lot to us.
We will absolutely be back probably every chance we get.
Phenomenal burger, great people, great experience. 10/10.

After working in Shaver Lake, driving down to porterville I googled burger spots and picked Smashway.
Lupita our cashier was excellent I asked questions and she answered them all without hesitation.
Went with Nashville hot chicken and chili cheese fries were delicious. Will definitely be back!
