The place itself is super cute. I love all the variety of on tap beers. I liked that they had different options for food, so there is something for everyone! I LOVED the outside seating, especially since it was such a nice day outside! We loved the truffle parm fries, those were super good!
However, the short ribs were not great. For the price, we expected better. They aren’t terrible, but definitely not great. Service took a little while, and the server seemed to kinda not be very interested or attentive. We had to repeatedly ask for more water or ask for the check, even after she bought us to go boxes. She was nice, but the service aspect was lacking.

Awesome spot for quality local food and drinks! As a party of 13 I was having trouble finding space but when I called 3 days prior Tent City said they could fit us. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and although there was no reference to my reservation, they had no problem seating us at a table of 6 and another table of 8.
The food was fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. Kids meal burgers were large and included a hefty side of fries. As a group we had the halibut and chips, braised short rib and grits, poke bowl, and burgers. All were happy with their food. I maybe wished the portion of fish on my order was a bit bigger but it was fresh, hot, crispy, and had a great fish to batter ratio. The grits were more or a fried polenta cake approach rather than the more traditional creamy puree you'd might expect, but tasty and crispy. Also loved the selection of local craft beers and wine options.
Service was fantastic with attentive wait staff, accurate order, and quick service. Would definetely return for more!

Tent City Taphouse is a celiac-friendly dining establishment with a dedicated, gluten-free fryer. So, it’s possible to get such rarities as gluten-free fish and chips, French fries, and wings. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
